Bay to Birdwood Run

National Motor Museum Lot 12 Shannon Street, Birdwood, South Australia, Australia

The Bay to Birdwood is the largest continually staged historic motoring event in the world and it's uniquely South Australian. Each year tens of thousands of people line the streets to see the two-hour passing parade of over 1500 veteran, vintage, classic cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. They then join in the celebrations at the post-event party at the National Motor Museum to see the vehicles and vintage fashions up close and dance to the music of the era. Of course, South Australian food and wines are part of the fun! And there's always free kids' entertainment and craft activities. Event tickets gain you free entry to view the National Motor Museum collection. Vehicles manufactured up to 31 December 1959 are eligible to participate in this year’s Run. $55 for motorcycles and $69 for all other vehicles. Artists displaying work will set up from 2 pm and place their donation piece on the Silent Auction table. Proceeds from the Silent Art Auction go to the Little Heroes Foundation.
