The late John Blanden started this annual event back in 1985 with Adelaide’s first F1 Grand Prix and has attracted the likes of Juan Manuel Fangio, Sir Jack Brabham & Stirling Moss. The event is now hosted by the Sporting Car Club of SA, with John Blanden’s daughter Susan Weber involved. Even though the Adelaide Grand Prix ceased in 1995, ‘The Eagle’ still continues strongly with great interest. 52 images.
