Campe’s Motor Museum – Hamilton, Vic Australia 2016
We discovered this nice museum when we stayed for the 1st time in the south western Victorian country town of Hamilton. We met owner Glen Campe at his museum where he explained that everything on display were part of his private collection. He set up the museum after 30+ years of operating his own coach-line which operated throughout Australia. This diverse collection which included many small non car-related items was all very interesting. We’re glad we discovered this wonderful museum.

Freestone’s Roadhaven 60’s Diner 2015 – Aireys Inlet, Vic, Australia

Freestone’s Roadhaven & 60’s Diner – Aireys Inlet, Victoria, Australia
This 60’s Diner at Airey’s Inlet in Victoria is spectacular to say the least and much more than just a diner (in fact it has 2 diners). Everything about the place was done very well from the food to the service, artifacts, car collection, scenic setting, automotive paraphernalia & atmosphere. Then there is the collectibles shop next door that is like nothing you’ve ever seen with many things you’ve never seen before. A must for those doing a trip along the Great Ocean Road. Address: 83 Great Ocean Road, Aireys Inlet, Victoria (Australia) Ph. (03) 5289 6912 Website: www.freestonestradingco.com.au
